Join the 34th edition of Bassomania – an inspiring gathering of young double bassists, students, and professionals dedicated to artistic growth, exchange of ideas, and celebration of the double bass.

Dates: December 10–14, 2025

Location: Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade

masterclass:

December 10-14 — Dominik Wagner (Vienna, Austria)

One of the most distinguished double bass soloists of his generation, currently professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.

Held daily at the Faculty of Music.

concerts:

December 11 — Three Premieres

“Bassomania” Double Bass Quartet: Slobodan Gerić, Zoran Marković, Ljubinko Lazić, and Fahrudin Strojil.

Program: V. Korać, P. Radisavljević,  I. Jevtić.

Venue: Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, 8:00 PM

December 13 — Recital

Dominik Wagner (Double Bass) & Dušan Egerić (Piano)

Program: J. S. Bach, L. Montag, C. Saint-Saëns, G. Gershwin

Venue: Christian Adventist Church, 8:00 PM

December 14 — Students’ Concert

Performances by double bass students and young talents.

Venue: Faculty of Music Concert Hall, 4:00 PM

Participation fees:

Active participation – 8,500 RSD (≈ 73 EUR)

(includes one individual lesson and attendance at the entire masterclass course)

Passive participation – 5,000 RSD (≈ 43 EUR)

(includes attendance at the entire masterclass course)

All concerts within the Bassomania festival are free and open to the public.
